One Twin Falls K-9 now in happy retirement
After years of service, one member of the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Department is happily retired.
Meet Croix, a 9-year-old German Shepherd, who has been living a life of retirement since May with his new owner Joanne, who also worked with the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Department.
We spoke with Croix’s handler of seven years, K-9 Handler Morgan Case, to find out a little bit more about Croix, and also, to find out a little bit more about the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit.




The German Shepherd Dog, also known as Alsatian is a breed of large-sized dog that originated in Germany which dates back in 1899. Developed originally for herding sheep but because of their strength, intelligence and abilities in obedience training, today they are often employed as police war dogs.
